Something New. Freeze Up when I post a reply

It can be frustrating beyond belief, and I'm almost embarassed to say that mine's working fine with IE8. The fellow who sells me my computer equipment quipped once, when I told him of a problem, "Bill, it's a computer. It's not supposed to work."

Don't know if this helps. I seem to have found a way to beat the lock up problem. To reply I hit the right hand reply button - the one with the arrow, not the + sign one in blue. Then I type my reply but before I hit the Post Quick Reply button I get ready to type the final period of the message. I then hit the period and the Post Quick Reply button nearly at the same time. So far that's working. Tried it after noticing there seems to be a relationship between the time between when I type the last key in the message and when I hit the Post Quick Reply Button. Don't know if that helps figure out what's up - but its working for me. May help others dealing with the situation too.
