First rate all the way , what a great sporran ! Kudos to Artificer . Well done Downunder , your attire certainly compliments the sporran as much as the sporran compliments your attire . Bravo !!

Absolutely gorgeous, mate! A true family heirloom for certain. I agree with Shaun, you wear your new sporran and belt very well. Congratulations and well done to Scott!
Thank you, Downunder Kilt! Great shots, great outfit, great review!
Thanks to everyone else as well. It's a real treat to be able to make these brass pieces, especially for one of guys who first took a big chance on a "new guy" making sporrans some two and a half years ago.
Downunder Kilt was also the one who helped me at an early stage in my original Brass Cantle / Historic MacLeay Horsehair Project with some specific knowledge that I didn't have at the time, and I'm in his debt. I consider him one of THE go-to guys for knowledge and experience with brass cantles, and this review means an immense amount to me. I am humbled, and deeply, sincerely, pleased that this sporran meets his approval.

Thanks for the nice comments gents. To paraphrase Jamie when he received his brass cantled sporran "It's so worth it"
If Scott had been making these sporrans when I first started my hunt for a functioning brass cantle sporran, this would have been my one and only. As far as I am concerned this sporran would pass muster at any event these days, bar white tie. Some may disagree about it being suitable for black tie because of the leather colour but with a good polish of the cantle I think it could pulled off.
Cheers to Artificer Save your pennies and this will be the only type of sporran you will need
Shoot straight you bastards. Don't make a mess of it. Harry (Breaker) Harbord Morant - Bushveldt Carbineers
