    Very nice indeed. The shades of brown have a dignified subtle effect that also goes well with your hair tones if I may say so. I can see this "working" on the street for daily wear. Keep up the excellent work.

    Thank you, everyone. When I made the cockade, I thought that using the full 1 1/2" ribbon might be a little bit large, so I trimmed off about 1/4" - with some slight overlap here and there the end result wound up being about 2 1/4" in diameter. The mailman just dropped off the cap badge I purchased from TheBrus, and I think the cockade size is just about perfect:
