Buckles
I've seen some mentions around the site, but nothing specific to what I'm looking for. I'm seeking a supplier for belt buckles: ring-type or Sam Brown-type or something along those lines. Sizing between 2" to 3". Brass or bronze is preferred, but any solid metal is a start, I suppose.
Anyone have a line on a buckle supplier?

It couldn't hurt none. I admit the second one is pushing it a little, but the others aren't as Jack Sparrow-ish.....eh, maybe they are...

I just bought 4 buckles from here: http://www.ejoyce.com/pmain?cmd=e_su...bcode=00010025. I got two in 2.25" and two in 3" for the kilt belts I'm making. I need two for my acrylic kilt, and two for my USA Kilts PV kilt, one brown, one black, and ordered brushed gold for one (brown?), brushed silver for the other (black?).
Now I need to figure out how to make a sporran belt and go full leather and get rid of my cheap rough chains!
I hope to pick up a veg tan double shoulder in 8-9 oz today from some local folks.

Thanks for that ejoyce link, Frank! Just what I need, another online toy store. . . I'm seeing that A8448 on the front of a very modern sporran. . .

Good for you Sydnie. Gee, yesterday I found a local supplier of veg tan 8-9 oz leather, and today I'll be darned if I can even get hold of the folks! Anyways, all the buckles I got were from this basic design: http://www.ejoyce.com/pmain?cmd=e_vi...e=000100250028. In fact, I just got an email notice they were delivered. Now I need some leather...
Best of luck to you!
