New tattersall shirt!
Got my new tattersall shirt in today, all the way from sunny England! Fits great and I think will look wonderful with my "new" kilt jacket that VMac converted for me. I am a lucky guy, and so fortunate to be on XMarks. Great people, great advice, and what more could an old guy ask for?

A very under-appreciated garment is the tattersall shirt. Which is, of course, to our advantage. Manufacturers and vendors don't see them as a 'dress' item so don't put a premium on the price.
Like a piece of treasure hidden in plain view. And it matches your new jacket so well.

I got this one on Amazon at a close out price of $29 Richard. I think with shipping, it was $41 or $42 altogether.

Pretty slick Richard and a good value, but I have a dark charcoal tweed kilt vest coming from USA Kilts sometime around the end of the year. I'm just gonna have to wait. That's okay too, I'm gonna make up some kilt belts over the next month!

Nice look Frank. Would love to see pictures of you IN the shirt, jacket, and the kilt as well.

Thank you sir. Maybe this weekend when I have more time. This kilt stuff does take some time, and I have been incredibly busy. Pics soon.

Well done, Frank! House of Bruar in Perthshire has a lovely selection of tattersall and country check shirts. This is usually where I get mine...well, there and Brooks Brothers too! I simply go with what works for me and in accordance to my style preferences and fashion sensibilities.
Cheers,

Good for you! Those prices (about $80 at the British shop) are a bit out of my reach, but sure are nice shirts. Brooks Brothers are even more. As a poor workin stiff, I have to keep costs reasonable...
