Hell-o all,

The other day I was looking at a picture of me taken about six years ago with me in pants. I cannot even think that that the guy in the photo is or was me, it just was not natural, even though the dude was smiling and seemed relaxed, it just did not seem real.

My brain now sends me messages that says wear a kilt (maybe Blu's DNA example has its merit), pants are a no-no, a very unnatural activity. When I don a kilt I become a very happy contented natural kind of guy, and I love it. I am sure that everyone here knows what I am thinking and feeling, for it is a very natural thing.

As we go about our many activities throughout the day we are raising the bar of kilt wearing. We wear them as an every day occurance, and not for those special occasions. We are just the tip of the iceberg.

I wish that I had as many kilts as Hamish, but I do not. I wish that I had the talent to make a kilt like many of you, but I do not. I just have the present reality to wear a kilt proudly, of which I am grateful. I will think of all of you when I do.

I havn't got to this plain of thinking as yet. I've not too many pic's to look at ( I usually take them.And are never in them

)

I really belive That I'm a kilted missonary in the land of un-belivers. (Them sending Monach on TV over here also helps

)

..pretty deep thought there Glen, what with you and Blu we are not a shallow bunch of dingos at all!!

As it happens, I also looked at a photo of me in jeans today, taken only a year ago. I thought I looked so...normal!! like everyone else!

I also wish I had more kilts, all in time. This change of life really does add up, with kilts, sporrans and all the other gear.

I was chuffed today tho' I found a supply of luvly THICK socks for hiking that come right up to the knees. Ozzie made too, and in blue black and green, more money to spend tho'

I digress...

Glen, you are a wonderful ambassador of kilts to Colorado, may your influence and enthusiasm infect those around you!

Glen, if I can make a kilt anyone can. It just takes a little time and patience. Get the pattern set from www.folkwear.com and give it a shot. You might surprise yourself.

Alternate quantum occasions notwithstanding, I'd think you'r want to wear then for both.

Yes, I have ....... somewhere ....... but it wouldn't be digital and so I could not post it here. Maybe, I could take a macro-photo of the print with my digital camera - then I could share it. It would not be a pretty sight, though! I'll see what can be done.
