Pretty sure that I'll be ordering at least one. Not sure if it'll be brown or black. And possibly a semi-formal as well.

Steve: I would like to pre-order a plain brown one. Please put me ahead of everyone else. Thank you.

I prefer a hole and stud closure (military?), but for the exact reason you stated (fiddling) a snap is better for me than a magnet. I hadn't even thought of Ron's objection! Now, I'm going to have to degauss my Buzz Kidder. Can't wait to see your new closure.

I think you should call it the "Ashton's All-Purpose Optimized Sporran". Good luck with production and marketing.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Yeah....very nice. I have been reluctant about the Nightstalker because it has a bulky look to it...but one of these will find a home with me.

Might be just what I have been looking for. I was going to order a $300+ sporran to get the size I need but this looks like it might just be perfect. Can't wait to see the final version.

Well, now I know why I've been so befuddled trying to decide what my next sporran would be. My Spidey sense knew that this was on the horizon, and it wouldn't let me make a decision that I would simply come to regret so soon in the future. I've kept going back to the nightstalker after hearing how much those here have loved it, but I just couldn't get past the fanny pack look.

Steve, you've outdone yourself again. I've often wondered as so many others here at XMarksTheScot why no one has been able to come up with a leather traditional looking sporran that was actually big enough to carry all of the paraphernalia that is required of today's man to have on his person at all times. The fact that L&M is building it for you is a big plus in my book. I'm very pleased with the hunting style sporran that I have from them, and it is my go-to sporran.
My only concern is whether I want one in black or brown. I'm thinking black, MoD style plain front, with matching leather sporran strap, no chains. No... wait, make that brown. Oh decisions, decisions.
Can't wait to see the final production models on your shelves.
