1000th Post
A little over four years ago, I started wearing kilts. I had a wool blend Royal Stuart great kilt, and a Stillwater Thrifty Black Watch.
I barely knew to put the pleaty part in back. I have been so grateful for the folks on this site. I have learned history, style, courtesy,
and many other things, including a number of fairly randy retorts to comments about kilts. I have made a number of good friends,
some of whom I have met in person, others I hope to at some point. This is a marvelous community. I wanted to take the opportunity
of my 1000th post here to thank you all.

I know someday I'll be there. I agree with all you've said and feel very welcome here.

We are not kind and welcoming people.
We are a bunch of crotchety old farts and we want to keep this all to ourselves.
Now go away, or I shall use my ridiculous accent and taunt you a second time.

No, the last status says it went through a sort facility in Vancouver yesterday. You will hear the shout when it arrives.
