Ya gotta love it!
Yes I'm stuck here in Orange County. Sort of central, in 30 minutes I can be in LA, in around an hour I can be in San Diego, San Bernadino, or The Valley.
My sister recently moved back to our home state of West Virginia. No crime, no traffic, no smog, no graffiti, no jobs, horrible weather half the year.

In parts of West (by Gawd!) Virginia, you can have the good of WV, and a commuter train ride to the jobs in suburban Maryland/DC.

With the winter solstice arriving in my latitude, darkness hitting at 5:000pm , temps dipping to the negatives, I'd say the decision for me is pretty simple. Toronto traffic is as bad as L.A. but you have the better year 'round weather. I'd love to be working in SoCal. I guess it is all "relative".
P.S. I just had my tires changed over to "snow" tires.
