My family's roll, who thankfully all made it through their respective wars alive but have since passed.
My adoptive parents who served in WWII:
Norman A. Hale, Sergeant/Navigator, RCAF
Phyllis M. C. Smith, Staff Sergeant, RCWAC
My maternal grandfather, whom I never had a chance to meet, served in Europe in WWI:
Albert L. Garvin, A/Sergeant, 24th Btn (Victoria Rifles), CEF, Mentioned in Dispatches.
