Scotland Forever Casual Kilt
I just ordered it yesterday, but I wanted to go ahead and say that so far I am very pleased with the customer service. I wanted to have it for my birthday which happens to be a holiday in both Canada and the US and I was worried that I had waited too long to order. I called customer service and spoke with a nice woman (sorry I don't remember her name) who said that she would check with the sewers first thing in the morning to see if they would be able to get my kilt done in time. I got a call back first thing the next morning and was advised that they would be able to meet my deadline. I was pleasantly surprised by this kind of service nowadays. Now I just have to wait for it to get here. I'll try to post some pictures once it arrives.

My kilt arrived yesterday (Nov 10) , so I'm still pleased at the customer service. It's my first kilt so I don't really have anything to judge it by, but I think it came out really well. I didn't have time today to get any pictures, but I'll try to get some posted soon.

Here are a few pics I took earlier. Hopefully I'll try to get outside later today and get some of it being worn.

Looks great! Is that the 4 yard, or did you go for the 5 yarder? 16oz or 13oz?

Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. It's the 4 yard casual in 16oz, they were on sale. I think they might still be on sale. I would have gone for the 5 yard, but it added quite a bit to the cost.

A beautiful kilt - love those purple hues! I have a couple of B&S 4-yd casuals, so I know you'll love it. I, too, have always received excellent service from the folks at B&S. Post a pic of you in it, when you get a chance.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I have used B&S and have been very satisfied. Went with the extra yard 16 oz Macdonald hunting because of my 42 inch waist and still considered it a very good deal. They have a very good pressing service which leaves very crisp pleats.
