    Having played a bit with paracord a lot will deal with the type of knots you tie. Check out - http://fusionknots.com/

    Awesome instruction and a mind blowing amount of different knots!!! I've done quite a few and they can be works of art in of themselves.

    This is a bit different direction then the OP had in mind... But what about making a knit sporran strap? Like many paracord belts out there the adjustment would be done using a smaller section of nylon webbing. But around the front of the individual would be a knit (on loom) strand of paracord that would be great for emergencies. What do you all thing?
