BD - your note implies a possible issue with Doug and/or the MacLeods. Do you want to move our get together somewhere else?

Nope, I don't think there will be a problem. Just that Doug would be surprised.

For those of you who missed it, Saturday's turn out was pretty good, even with gust of wind over 30 mph. Unfortunately, the weather prediction of thunderstorms scared many clans and vendors away for Sunday. Only 8 clans were there Sunday, and the vendors were down to 2.
Despite all the predictions, it did not rain by the time I left around 2pm, and in fact it was getting quite sunny. We did hit rain in the form of a light sprinkle north of Troy Texas. I think there were 7 or 8 of us there on Saturday from Xmarks. Shawn has the pics. courtesy of his lovely wife Kim. Hope every one has a great Christmas season and we will see you again at the North Texas Irish Festival.

Sorry I missed saying hello/meeting y'all -- the piping competition was smack over in the tall grass (and the sun) to the right when you first drove in. With multiple events and the spacing between competition pieces and judging, once you were there, you stayed there.
Piping competitors on Saturday had to pay for re-entry to the games on Sunday, so we decided we didn't want to have to pay to get in to volunteer.
And you're not kidding about those wind gusts! Glad I wasn't trying to balance a caber for the toss. It was bad enough trying to keep the drones consistent when walking back and forth, as competition demands, in front of the judge.
Enjoyed watching the soldiers from Fort Hood getting into the athletic competitions. Cheers to them!
