Thanks for the information describing the difference between the kilt hose and shooting socks. I've seen links to socks of the same color, made by the same supplier and they appeared to be the same thing though with a different name. Good to know there is a difference.

However, I was a bit at a loss as to what breeks, plus 2s or plus 4s were. May be if I was a golfer it wouldn't have been a mystery.

An early google hit for plus 2s - was a slang term for breast implants adding two cup sizes, and +2 on the 1 to 10 scale. Perhaps some folks believe a guy in a kilt also gains +2 on the 1 to 10 scale. But , I figured this wasn't the correct plus 2 I was looking for and looked for another definition.

For anyone else as ignorant as myself, a link to a basic description for plus 2s, 4s, etc.
