I haven't checked lately but they used to be in the "Advanced" section of the reply. Click on "Go Advanced" below the text box and you should find them there.

Here is a sample kilted guy from a Google search:
The site (page) is here: http://www.emoticonsonly.com/people/3533/kilt.html
I put the sample in place by clicking on the "image" icon and inserting the location URL,
which is "http://smileys.emoticonsonly.com/emoticons/k/kilt-3533.gif" for this particular smiley icon.
If you are too busy to laugh, you are too busy.

A caution about the "Free Smilies" available from the web.
Many of the programs, especially those using pop-up windows, contain embedded code which allows access to your computer.
Please be very careful when looking for smilies. I often get emails from members of this forum that appear as if their computer is being used to spread spam.
To access the smilies we have loaded to the forum please look in the upper margin of the "Reply to post" or "Quick Reply" window. You should see an icon with a yellow smilie face. A second window will open with all the smilies.
We have checked these and insured that they are safe.

I'm not saying that you cannot or should not use smilies. They are fun and can sometimes convey your message quite well.
I'm just saying be careful of those pop-up free smilie offers you see on the web.
Here's a little tip I learned early in my 'puter days.
In the address book of whatever email program you use, put a totally bogus email address. warning_will_robinson@waving_arms.com is what I use. If your computer gets a bug that uses your address book to send out spam you should get an error message back saying that an email to warning_will_robinson@waving_arms.com could not be delivered. The error message should contain the text of the email and you can look to see if someone has hacked your system.
