What to wear with Gordon jacket?

Why not treat the jacket as if it is a tweed sportcoat? If that's the case you can't go wrong with a pair of charcoal flannel trousers, black full brogues, a blue Oxford shirt and a club or repp tie.

If you wear a bow tie then a vest - depending on the pants could be red, (for the holiday season), gold, green, all sorts of tweeds.
