Pacific Coast Highlanders and Gold Coast Pipe Band Flash Mob in Thousand Oaks, CA. I recognize a face in the crowd... Enjoy!

WOW - That must be unique! Not one kilt and not a bit of tartan that I could see.

    Good playing, though.

    Regards

Excellent video, most enjoyable, unfortunately no kilts.
I have a couple of photos of the Gold Coast Pipe Band which I took at Ventura Games in 2009 when they were wearing kilts in the Wallace tartan.
Couldn't make out anyone I recognised in the crowd, should I be looking out for an xmarker?

Not quite Chas. Our local Christmas Parade was led by Hawick Pipe Band dressed in snowman costumes and then Hawick Scout Fellowship Pipe Band brought up the rear dressed as Santas.

Don't know which I like more - the initial piper's cowboy boots or the lady piper's "Bah Humbug" Santa hat....

Not sure if it was the reason, but the flash mobs are supposed to inconspicuously assemble and later disperse
Here is another example from Central Station in Sydney, where traditional attire would have decreased it's effect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sls4hxVWI9w

I notice that they attracted the attention of Mall Security ... but I guess he didn't figure he could be heard over the din!

Wonderful performance. The shoppers must have been delighted. I would be!
