The Wedding at the End of the Universe
After a long engagement, I tied the knot on Dec 21 with a tongue-in-cheek End of the World themed wedding. Because of out love for Douglas Adams, we titled it The Wedding at the End of the Universe (our officiant even wore a towel over his shoulder!) I'll post more pictures once the professional ones come in, but here's one from a guest's camera.
The kilt is a PV Fraser Ancient Hunting by Peter MacHummel at Canadian Casual Kilts (which had some shipping issues and arrived the day before the wedding!)
The red/black diced hose are from J. Higgins, the sporran is one I bought from be da veva with some added black tassels, and the jacket is a tuxedo jacket that I bought used from a local rental shop modified by a local seamstress. I also bought a piece of bog oak and a bottle opener from Rab Gordon and carved out a simple sgian brew, which came in handy as we brewed most of the beer for our wedding.
Yes, that's a lightsaber on the ground behind us.

congratulations .... and I like that kilt and those hose ... and even though it's a bit dangerous leaving a light sabre hanging around on the floor, it was the 'end of the world' so live on the edge!
