    Celtic Christmas

Had a Celtic Christmas Choir Program at my Baptist Church in Madison, MS. I was asked to wear my kilt and greet our visitors. There was another man kilted but I did not get to talk to him. Had many positive reactions from the ladies and only one gentlemen(?) ask the question. Told him I had the ba$$s to wear one did he. One of the guys who always has someting smart to say but this time I got him!

    Outfit:
    USMC kilt
    black rabbit fur sporran
    blue hose
    tux shirt and tie
converted spencer jacket - not a Prince Charlie

Did your choir perform all or part of Season of Joy: A Celtic Christmas?

It's a collection of carols and songs, old and new, that was very popular with churches around here this Christmas. What's cool about it is that many of the songs have uilleann pipe parts written into the orchestral score. I'm an uilleann piper and I've performed that piece, very nice. Several of the songs were written by Keith & Kristyn Getty.

The choir performed all of it. Had a celtic band perform with the orchestra. One of the best performances from our choir. They gave two performances that day to an almost packed house.
