I have had the misfortune of seeing a couple of them floating around at the Boyscout highland days event that hired me for the educational presentation. That event is what brought me here to begin with. I didn't have the time to paw through all of the original source material so I thought I would pick the brains of the rabble. I'm glad I did because I kind of like it here. I didn't take the time to explain how the BH kilt was inaccurate to the ones wearing them individually, but I made it a point to discuss proper kilt construction and it's place in history during my presentation. I didn't figure that it had much of an effect on those who paid too much money to get them, since the one was wearing thermals under it, and the other was wearing shorts (regular short pants, not just boxers). Granted it was in April and a rather cold day (40 some degrees), but my 59 year old stepdad wore a proper great kilt that day and he was already sick.
