Burns Supper -Central Texas

The wife finally let me know about the Salado Burn's Night dinner and we won't be going.
I did buy a ticket for the Burns scotch tasting at the Waco Twin Liquors though for Friday night. I told the manager I would wear a kilt to make it more realistic. No haggis, but sounds like the food they are serving will be top shelf.

I'll may try the Burns Night scotch tasting in Austin. We can compare notes. I don't mind missing the haggis. One of these days we'll end up in the same place.

It kind of burns (no pun intended) me that there is no tasting in Killeen area. Bit far to drive to go to Waco, let alone College Station or Austin, to get buzzed. Have fun!

Can the Central Texans get organized? There appears to be several events happening for Burns Night.

Will anyone be attending the Burns Supper at Sherlock's Baker Street Pub, featuring the Silver Thistle Pipes and Drums and the Hill Country Highland Dancers, on January 27th? If so, could we get together for a photo to show that we actually exist?

A Burns Supper is being held in Salado on Jan. 26th.

On the 25th there are several scotch tastings at various Twin Liquor establishments.

The Burns Supper at Sherlock's in Austin January 27th had a full house, but I think there were no other X Markers there. Here is a picture of my wife and I to prove it did happen.
