Thanks…I considered the various pleating options but decided to go with the more common civilian approach and had it pleated to the sett. I am very happy with the result.

I hiked the kilt up a bit for the last photo. Otherwise it reaches the bottom of my knee which can tend to look a bit frumpy depending on how the kilt is accessorized.

Thanks…and they keep the ensemble from looking to matchy-matchy. Now if I can just get OR to do gaiters in Lovat Blue or maybe Bison.

I did not linger on top of the gate. For some reason the image came into my mind of the young boy who is double-dog dared to touch his tongue to a frozen flag pole.
