I hadn't even been thinking about getting a Utilikilt before Monday, but I tell you it did really make up for the rest of the weekend. I think both the traditional kilt and the neo-kilts are great, but the Utilikilt is noticeably cooler in temp. than my 13 oz 8 yd. The way it's cut also makes it easier to lounge around without displaying your goods. And I still got Scottish/bagpipe questions while wearing the Utilikilt. Going to the store in person also helped get a good fit (I'm 6 feet tall, but wear a medium, not a long), because I personally don't like Utilikilts worn past the knees. Price is pretty great too. I'll have to get a bearkilt next...
