7th Annual Nor-Cal Rabble Burns Night at Montevalle
A fine time was had by all. Singing, Dancing, Good Conversation, Stories, Jokes, and a surpirise appearance by Panache, the Celtic Peacock and his personal Veterinarian.

That was a BLAST, though for once I have not one single picture to share. I'm sure that others will make up the deficit, though!

That looks like a fun evening, and it's always a delight to see the F-H.C.A.G. and Jamie

That was a grand evening indeed!! I have a small photo album up on Facebook, here's a "public" link to it:

I also have some video clips up; but unfortunately making the privacy setting "public" for videos only means that (unlike photos) everyone on Facebook can see them -- you still have to have a Facebook account.

One of our Rabble "guests" 'who's not an X Marker was so impressed when he attended last year that he ordered a kilt in the X Marks the Scot tartan and came again this year. He brought along a co-worker, and then did this excellent write-up on the Mills Clan website.

I'm going to swipe a few pictures off of his web page and post them here....
The haggis is piped in...

The Demonic Alan H delivers an extremely animated Immortal Memory...

MacMillans son delivers the toast to the cook...

After dinner, there was dancing...

Be sure to check out his write-up.

For those who would like to see my rendition of the Immortal Memory, I offer the following YouTube video.
Now, listen up... I've been to a bunch of Burns Night dinners and what generally happens is that everybody is having a great time. Then it's time for dinner. One of the gents gets up and delivers the Address to the Haggis, which is a big hit. Then we eat dinner. Everybody is having a great time. Then the awful part arrives...the 20-minute Historical Lecture about Burns. I've heard good ones and I've heard really awful ones that killed the mood and the fun for a good half an hour. I was determined to not be the guy that ruined everybodys party.
OK, with that in mind....take a look if you dare, and if you have a sense of humour!
