I also have some video clips up; but unfortunately making the privacy setting "public" for videos only means that (unlike photos) everyone on Facebook can see them -- you still have to have a Facebook account.

"It's all the same to me, war or peace,
I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."
One of our Rabble "guests" 'who's not an X Marker was so impressed when he attended last year that he ordered a kilt in the X Marks the Scot tartan and came again this year. He brought along a co-worker, and then did this excellent write-up on the Mills Clan website.
For those who would like to see my rendition of the Immortal Memory, I offer the following YouTube video.
Now, listen up... I've been to a bunch of Burns Night dinners and what generally happens is that everybody is having a great time. Then it's time for dinner. One of the gents gets up and delivers the Address to the Haggis, which is a big hit. Then we eat dinner. Everybody is having a great time. Then the awful part arrives...the 20-minute Historical Lecture about Burns. I've heard good ones and I've heard really awful ones that killed the mood and the fun for a good half an hour. I was determined to not be the guy that ruined everybodys party.
OK, with that in mind....take a look if you dare, and if you have a sense of humour!

I've been to other Burns Suppers elsewhere, but this was my first time with the NorCal Rabble. It will certainly not be my last, as the feeling of cameraderie at this gathering was unlike any other. Alan's creative tribute to The Immortal Memory was one of the things that "made my night"!

Alan.. LOVE this.. but, any chance you could either post the words, or send them to me?? No matter how loud I turn up the speakers on my computer, I can't hear everything..
