Does anyone know of any Burns suppers in Vancouver on Saturday the 26? I find myself there and my local one is that night but I am in Vancouver on Saturday and will miss it

I do know of a few Burn's suppers. The best is on Sunday night. The Gung Haggis Fat Choy dinner. www.gunghaggis.com. Hope you can make it to the event!

Hmmm...I can't make it to any Burns suppers, but as I planned on wearing my kilt to work Friday afternoon perhaps I'll take my kid down to the Burns Marathon. That's SFU downtown, right?

Yes. Harbour Centre main lobby. Select your own reading from his works and introduce yourself at the desk; ask for Tricia; she'll slot you in. Look about or ask -- I'll be there.

I'm at the SA&CS/Vancouver Club do, but I was told this morning it was sold out at CAD120 a person before Christmas. SFU Pipe Band's supper was last weekend, but it was sold out in November, for heaven's sake! I hear there are still a few places left for the Moray, Nairn & Banff supper at the Scottish Cultural Centre on Saturday. That's usually a great evening.
