I sure hope you aren't using that for music-reated stuff. We musicians are struggling right now. The biz is dead! We can't turn a profit with illegal downloads and file-sharing. It hurts independant artists like me MORE than major record label artists.

I remember a fan telling me that he downloaded one of my songs...illegally...and that he dug my tune. Sure, I made a fan but he won't ever pay me a penny for his enjoyment after I spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours writing, recording, producing, mixing, mastering, replicating, copyrighting, trademarking, and promoting my album (working on album number two now).

Sure, stickiing it to a corporation feels good...but they always just pass the pain on the the little guy.

Sorry if I stepped on your toes, my friend. I meant no disrespect.

I sympathize completely. That's why I recommended purchasing the DVD. I would go on to say something about our country's new "everyone owns everything" ethic, but that might lead to troubled waters and most certainly to forbidden territory.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Never fear, I only use it to try stuff - if I like it, I go buy the DVD/CD. Only having one working PC and my wife addicted to a game called 'Grepolis', its the only way I get to see stuff. Got fed up last night and went to bed and it was almost an hour before she realised...

Having had a few small businesses of my own I know what its like with the 'big guys' - had my print business go belly up almost on that magical '3 year' mark due to a number of software houses launching DTP for busines cards etc, at home.

If I like what I see, I WILL buy the DVD, so use YouTube as a 'try before you buy' thing. With the price of CDs and DVDs still outrageously high, from a consumer point of view, it saves me wastign money I coudl spend on the kids, or kilt stuff of course...

Looks like there are actually two different titles--Highland Clans and Scotland's Clans--with two seasons of Scotland's Clans.

    Scotland's Clans
Series 1 -- Armstrong, Cameron, Douglas, Maclean, The Stewarts, Grant.

Series 2 -- MacNeil, Scott, Gordon, Leslie, Robertson, Hamilton.

Highland Clans -- MacGregor, MacDonald, MacLeod, Campbell, Fraser, MacKenzie.

Yep. The producers altered the title slightly for series 3. All of the episodes are available for purchase via DVD. I purchased the entire series (1-3) back in 2009 from Amazon.

    Cheers,

Paul Murton has also done 3 series of Grand Tours of Scotland - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b016x21x that are well worth looking around for, I expect they are on you tube.

Not many kilts but full of fascinating information and places.

I feel for you, Martin. Seeing so much hard work and emotional investment go belly up is really shattering.

    Trefor, thank for sharing.

Kyle, I can see why they changed the title: to reflect the third series' focus on the Highlands. Great show. I really enjoyed it. Hopefully they will pick it up for further installments. (HINT, HINT, BBC).

    ;-)

I remember a documentary on History Channel's "Time Machine" series called "Battle of the Clans." It was pretty decent, considering that I was an enamoured wee boy when it was broadcast, but given History Channel's record it was probably (in all actuality) utter kak. Anyone remember when they did History programmes (OTHER THAN WW2)?

Thanks. I saw my client list go from around 100 to zilch practically overnight, and was just about to make it my fulltime job.
But on the bright side, I have plenty of cardstock and paper for the kids homework and scout stuff.
