Batley Mills also has a "Muted" Black Watch in 16oz - compared to D.C. Dalgliesh's "Reproduction" Black Watch (Campbell) and Lochcarron's "Weathered" it's got an ever so slightly overal greenish cast to it (hard to tell from photos online, but I have swatches of all three.) By itself you'd never really notice - It's a very handsome tartan for appreciably less than Dalgliesh or Lochcarron.
I recently purchased the Muted variety this past year when Scotweb had a sale, as well as another kilt in the ordinary Black Watch modern since I didn't have one already. The Muted seems to get more wear on of me. The wool from the mill is a bit on the coarse side, but its still very nice, is very comfortable as a kilt should be and is well crafted. Paired with olive drabs and brown colours, it works for those 'matchy-matchy' days. Be forewarned though, if you go for Scotweb, if you let them ship FedEx, that customs fee comes back to bite you-the 'courier' sent me my bill for nearly eighty dollars two weeks after they delivered them.

Yup! That's the one, Usonian. I am eyeing that exact weave (Batley) from Scotweb for my first wool kilt, a five-yarder.
Thanks for the heads up, Blake.
