A great story. Its amazing how a kilt gets you places that ordinary clothes don't. I was in London recently for my annual escape (kilted of course) from the family to the big smoke to soak up some culture and a glass of wine or two. On the Sunday I attended a service a Southwark Cathederal and on entering an usher invited me to take part in the service. I was asked to carry the wine to the alter for communion along with 5 other people. He said I would give the procession a real touch of colour and style. Following the service I was then invited to have a glass of wine with the Dean and Chapter.I must say I was honored to be asked to be part of the service and once again the kilt opened the door to such a chance.
