The only issue Rocky and I had to work out with the Casuals was due to how extremely low I have to wear kilts - on my hip bones. To get them to hang correctly right out of the box I now add 3 inches to my actual hip measurement. It allows for the faster dimensional change from kilt waist to my hips maximum. I can't tell the sewdown extends past the hip at all.
