Does anyone play that organ? I'd like to hear how it's held up over time.
Yes the organ is still played every Sunday. I understand that it has been moved and rebuilt at least three times during the various stages of the Abbey's restoration.

Alex - one of the most memorable concerts I’ve ever attended was at the Paisley Townhall in August, 2010. Paolo Nutini, born and raised in Paisley, put on a special show for his hometown fans. My wife and I just happened to be vacationing in Scotland when we ran into Paolo’s band manager who is an acquaintance of my wife’s. He invited us to the concert and we had a wonderful time. Here are a couple of pictures.

Thanks for these pics Chewse, a super pic of Paisley Town Hall, brings back memories of many events I have attended there from school prizegiving through model train shows, Scottish Country Dances and concerts.
Paolo Nutini shot to fame after he appeared on the 2006 BBC Hogmanay Live Show. I think we will hear a lot more music from him in the future.

Alex: Thank you for posting yet another wonderful series of pictures from Scotland - pictures that make the viewers wish they were there with you both.

My favorite is the one of you and Gabriele in the train depot. And I love that picture of the Watermill Hotel. I can only assume the Scottish Tourist Ministry is sending you regular commission checks.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
