I too am sorry to hear of the effects of your visit to the Doctor, Doc.
As for me: well, I'd almost certainly have worn a Utilikilt (throw in the washing machine rather than a dry clean operation), but I'm crossing my fingers when I say that I have never yet had cause to visit my Doctor for anything more 'messy' than picking up a Prescription or getting an anti-'flu jab!!
As I reported elsewhere, I did wear a Breacan in hospital whilst recovering from a veins operation a few years ago, but I never saw as much as a drop of blood!
