United States Hunting Tartan - a bit of a laugh

I posted my design in another thread and felt a bit guilty for stealing some of the OP's thunder, so I thought it appropriate to post this in its own thread.

I designed this tartan as a joke, taking the "hunter orange" uniform of most American hunters into a modification of the registered United States tartan. What I got was a hunting tartan that fits North American tradition a bit better than most hunting tartans do:

    So, what do you think?

Big deal...Go look at the Hamilton Dress....this is why when I finally have a formal kilt made it will be Hamilton Hunting. I do like this tartan though...I just would not wear it unless I was going to a UT game...lol. We have always joked that my civilian camo and Carrhart duck kilts were done in Redneck hunting...I just did one in a white birch and black night time camo that looks pretty decent...

I like it. Could be something for sports fans from The Netherlands. Oranje with red, white and blue.

I had to laugh at this.. because, as soon as I saw the tartan, I couldn't help but think this would be perfect for a UT game ;) Go Horns!!!

I Ike it, but hard to tell. Is it really hunter orange? The image looks like a nice autumn gold.

I'm looking at it on my iPad and it looks pretty orange. Personally, I hate orange but I get the joke. Classic, mate. Lol.

I hate orange, too, but... dang. I'd probably get one for hunting season.
