You bet. Blu and Mrs. Blu had a great time! Philh, Mrs. Philh, (and let's not forget Cashh) are wonderful hosts. The weather was as fine as the company and the beer. We'll try and get together again before fall rolls in. Thanx again, Phil!

If there are no highland games where you are, where do the pipe bands play / compete? It must get pretty boring piping in haggisses(sp?) and the newyear.

Blu, our band does private functions (weddings/funerals) hogmanay, Xmas parades, Anzac Day parades, and it now getting into concerts and ceilidhs.
There are annual Highland Gatherings of Pipe Bands with competitions but still no Highland Games as such.
There was one years ago, don't know what happened to it. I may try to follow it up.

Perhaps all it takes is somebody like yourself with the ambition and commitment to get things rolling. Pretty much a full time job for someone, albeit shrt term. Also ,lots of volunteers needed to make it all come together. I wouldn't know where to start.
