I very much like the grouping and idea of a full-size clan tent version but, to my eyes, the latest iteration with tartan backdrop is much too busy and distracts from the grandeur of those fine gents.

I agree I put it on my desk top and went cross eyed But I am working on making it better, But hthis is

Thank you , I like the art work of Macleay , But I am just cropping pictures on Paint program . Nothing to crazy.
I would like to print it out big , not sure how I can do that yet . hope to figure it out for the clan tent .

I was thinking, these lads would be great in a Monty Python "Flying Circus" skit, complete with the crude and rather comical animation of their limbs and bottom jaw.

I doubt the idea of a life-size cutout would work. You'd need incredibly high-res scans of the original artwork for any kind of quality to survive such enlargement to life-size, for placement at a clan tent. To see the problem, take a piece of clip art, say 320x240, and blow it up even to just 8x (2560x1920). That's only a fraction of how big you'd need to enlarge, but you'd see just how much the image would break down.
