A New Kid on the Block!
The proprietors of www.kiltstore.net in Edinburgh, who recently supplied me with my Camouflage and Denim kilts, have just contacted me with a link to a brand new site they are launching this week.
This marks the start of a brand new kilt design and retailing business which Nick and Adele are developing to run alongside kiltstore.com. The kilts shown are, I understand, quite expensive but less costly ranges will be added before long.
The extravagant designs will not appeal to everybody, since they are aimed at a niche market, but personally I find them very exciting (although I am not sure that even I could wear all of them!).
See what you think: www.kilt2.com

Hamish, they look interesting, but definately not something I'd care to wear. Kinda makes me think of Sesame Street meets Braveheart.

I think thats kinda cool, makes the kilt a VERY modern thing.not too keen on the hands stuff, but the text kilts are kool.

Most certainly innovative... but can't compare with the "Saltire". The "handover" was a bit too suggestive of feminine styles IMHO. None of them are something I'd run out and buy. Not quite sure what the
"tartget" group is.

Interesting Hamish, thanks for the link, not my cuppa tea of course but worth a look.

I like them. If I can afford one, I will get one.

The Hand Over is way too girly. The others have the fault of being high fashion which will never fly with a lot of guys who wear kilts.

On a second look, I rather think they are all way too girly.

Whether they are Girly or not, I think they are heading to the right direction. They are perfect for the guys who are looking to step out of the Tartan and plain colour kilts.
