    Stewart Hunting Weathered

    anyone know where this is offered in medium weight? my search actually led me to this forum after countless dead ends and curses muttered.

    I don't believe that it's offered in 13oz. as a stock fabric by any of the mills. Lochcarron offers it as stock in 16oz. The 16oz. makes a better kilt, anyway.

    I went on the Dalgleish site this morning and they have it listed in 13oz and 16oz... but I don't know if they carry it in stock.

    They call this colour scheme "reproduction" rather than "weathered".

    It would be interesting to see kilts made from Lochcarron "weathered" and Dalgleish "reproduction" side by side.

    Their Reproduction/Weathered Green (Brown) and Blue (Dove Gray) are very similar, although their reds, blacks, and yellows differ considerably.
