Bumping this thread up as the event approaches! We will be there both days. My sister arranged for our late mother to be recognized during the Memorial Day "service recognition" ceremonies so of course we'll be in the stands for that. Otherwise wandering and periodically checking in at Donnachaidh tent.
I've had a PM exchange with one forum member about meeting up to show him basic knitting -- no formal arrangements unless somebody else wants to join in and make it a knitting circle! I'm working up the legs on the latest pair for Bob but we'll start with garters. . . easy but boring. . .

I will be there along with the hubby and probably son and DIL. Looking forward to it. As a newbie is one day there enough? Trying to decide if to buy one day tickets or two.

That all depends...One day is probably enough time to walk through all of the vendor and clan booths. If you wanted to see the athletics, attend beer/whisky tastings, listen to and watch performances, you may want to spend the second day, just so you can make sure you have enough time for it all.
If you miss out on something, there are other Southern California games/festivals that you could go to later in the year.
