help with casual kilts
hello all, as i am waiting on tax returns i am looking at getting a new wool kilt a 5 yard one either from usa kilts or from scot web. i have 2 pv from usa kilt and they are great , i have never ordered from scotweb.
now my question is , is there advantages of one over the other? how do they compare to each other?
any help would be great .

My first thought is that, since you are "only" a couple hundred miles north of USA Kilts (as the crow flies), you might consider taking a drive down there and checking out Rocky's shop in person. It would be a great way to spend a tax return.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I won't speak to quality as I know nothing of Scotweb's 5 yarders (and haven't heard anything negative about them). I would only point out the price that you see on our site would be the "delivered to your door" price. Shipping would be free (orders over $200 get free shipping in the USA), there would be no tax (since you're not in PA and kilts aren't taxable anyway) and there would be no US Customs duties. We absorb all those costs. The kilt is made in house, here in our Spring City location by either Mac or myself.

LitTrog: Bah. You guys with your "knowledge" and "talents." Always taking the legs out from under my ignorant nincompoopery.

Just adding a simple, "If it ain't broke don't fix it."
You already know the quality of Rocky's products - stick with a winner.
BTW - I'll be visiting the USAKilts store in Spring City the VERY near future - to "spend" a nice gift certificate I received for Christmas. Hoping to find a Sterling Casual off-the-rack and some other goodies to take home. It's about a three hour drive, but well worth the travel time.

Hey! If you're just trying to make us feel bad, I've got news for you. It worked.
Enjoy your trip, ... dammit!

Oops, sorry.
Actually this will be my second trip and my wife will be along this time. She provided the gift certificate (and I'll bet she also gets herself something new).
