One reservation I would have is this line: "And I applaud men like Mr. Andrews -- and Kanye West, Nathan Fillion, Ashton Kutcher, Alan Cumming and Gerard Butler -- who are opening up men's options one kilt at a time." At least one of the individuals here have had pictures posted in garments that are debatable as to whether it was a kilt. I do not wish to rehash that argument but just feel that something portrayed as a kilt that is too extreme can have a negative effect. It connotes a negative that fence sitters and guys debating whether to get a kilt would be put off by. BTW, I really did like Alan Cummings kilt ensemble when he was awarded his OBE (I believe that was the honor he received).
