For anyone interested...
I'm doing pretty good. I had an unfortunate bout of the flu and then a cold after I was recovering from that (Note: coughing with a wired sternum isn't as much fun as you may think). I finally feel better and am getting in walks everyday, I'm up to a mile and doing fine. I even attended my Scottish Country Dance class on Monday and lasted for almost half the class!
I'm still on antibiotics through a PICC line (so no G&Ts for our boy Jamie)
sigh
If all goes well I'll be returning to help at my daughter's elementary school in 1 1/2 weeks!
I am very much looking forward to the Nor Cal Rabble meet up in San Francisco this weekend for Jordan so you can have other X Markers evaluate wether or not I'm up to snuff!
Cheers
Jamie

Glad to see the improvement, even with a few setbacks.

Jamie: Whatever you do, don't overdo it! Take good care of yourself and get enough rest. We love you. God bless you.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Belated prayers in the void of eternity where time doesn't matter. Hope your recovery is still going well.

Update:
As of this week I'm back helping at my daughter's school, attending both my regular Scottish Country dance class and Red Thistle performance group practice, driving at night, and am off to the pistol range on my own! Best of all...the PICC line comes out Monday
Thank you all for your continuing concern
Cheers

Great milestone! the PICC line makes about everything you do during the day a challenge.
Ahh a nice shower without tape!

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
