    OB I just checked the Scotweb site for Shaw modern, result - Balmoral kilt 8 yard, 16oz, Lochcarron for A$420.00 - Balmoral kilt 8 yard 13oz, House of Edgar for A$500.00. Both reasonably price for such kilts

    If my last name was MacFarlane I'm pretty sure I would wear MacFarlane... specifically, red MacFarlane in Reproduction Colours by Dalgleish. It's as lovely a tartan as anyone could ask for.

    A little off topic from the original post but I agree that red MacFarlane is a gorgeous tartan. It's my sister-in-law's tartan and is quite pleasing to my eye anyway.
