Conditioning......
This is a long weekend in Ontario,(simply called "Civic Holiday"). 8) I've been able to wear kilts for 2 days straight. This morning, I pulled on some light nylon "track pants" to cut the lawns. Caught myself several times doing "the butt sweep" when sitting on chairs. I thought it was funny. My wife just shook her head.

Blu, not sure about you, but when I last wore track pants it was the day I went to the ski resort. I found them hot and prickly on my legs, even in the -5 deg. temps. I found myself wishing I had the breeze about me.
Back to your point, yes, and what a nice conditioning it is too (air conditioning !! )

Another thing, I mowed lawns and dug up a new vegie patch today in a kilt for the first time. I wore a bear 4 yard PV, it felt great.
I didn't argue with myself over the mower like Hamish does tho'.

The only thing you could have added to that is "FOR SHAME!... and I would agree with that!! Although I don't find the nylon prickly, it does tend to cling a bit. Yahh, I've put the kilt back on and we'll try it that way. 8)

I wouldn't say that to you Blu!! there's no shame in wearing bifurbs, but more joy in doing things kilted.
I don't want to brag, but I am taking great delight in being 99.9% kilted these days. It's still a challenge tho'. What I, and many others in similar situations, am doing is really radical!
We may be very accustomed to kilts ourselves, but to others in the community we are doing a very strange thing, an unheard of thing, in wearing a kilt in everyday life.

I hear you. This something something that still concerns my wife. She has asked me on several occasions to wear bifurcs, just so friends an family will see that I don't wear kilts all of the time. In this day and age, this shouldn't matter, but it does to her. So far, I've complied.

But they should also have to keep us happy. And happy is kilted!
