I hear that there's enough cargo space to carry a six pack of water... out there in the desert, you might need it!

Aye, feels like the same material to me. But doublecheck with UK.

Thanks, I will, the current sale on the camo has got me thinking about picking one up. I got the sage camo last month, but the weather here in MA has prevented me from wearing it thus far.

I plan to hit some of the hiking trails in the Berkshires, and the Seven Sisters this year, so I'll make sure to post some pics of green rolling hills as a counterpoint to yours.

Can you point out the differences in a "Survival" and a "Survival II" for me?? I wasn't aware that there was a "II" to begin with!

I believe the original survival is the one they made up for that Rudy(?) guy to wear on one of the early Survival programs when he wasn't nekie. Was a different fabric I think. Version II aka Survival II is the cotton one with whatever changes they made from that first effort. Corrections and clarifications welcome.

Gotcha... also, glad to see I'm not the only one who uses the term "nekie". Rugrats for the win!

Anywho... I'm currently wearing my Survival (II?) for the first time in what seems like forever. So comfy. Can't wait to get my black one back, I'm wearing my tan/coyote one right now.

Hey Riverkilt, it was Richard not Rudy, Rudy was that tough old bird exmilitary and I do not think he would wear a kilt for million dollars.
