Yup, on the two Scottish-made Argyll jackets I have (all my others seem to have Crail cuffs), the points of the cuffs are at the rear seam. With hands flat against your sides, it would be at the pinky. And as you bend your elbow up, as in a hand-shaking motion, the point is at the bottom.
I've never taken photos specifically to show cuffs, but you can see what I'm talking about (hopefully) below.

Tobus, that last photo is about the clearest example I've seen, cuff-wise - thanks! (& thanks for the confirmation everyone else.) The rear seam it is!
