    Skiing in a kilt

I woulod have to add my vote to the so far unanimous negative count on the idea of actually skiing in a kilt, but it might be just the thing for the "apre ski" at the fireplace in the lodge while consuming suitable warm beverages containing large amounts of rum or other adult refreshments.

OK, tell you what, I'll take the dram or three, the warm fire and the cable knit sweater, and forget the rest.

You can't go to the gym and just go straight to the hot tub or steam bath, you have to do your work out first. Likewise, you really need to take a skiing or snowboarding lesson before enjoying the "apres-ski" evening. The best part is the skiing or boarding is much more enjoyable than the gym, and you will be having FUN before you "veg out" by the fire.

I'm a crazy person who plays outside in sub-zero weather 8)

oh yeah, definitely try skiing, but *not* in a kilt. snowboarding is the devil (i guess its cuz i broke my thumb my first time ). but defintiely try skiing, fall on your **** a bunch, go back to the lodge, don your kilt and sit round the fire with a drop of scotch and a gaggle of cute ski-bunnies ogling your stark kilted manliness! so theres your plan. go! go do it now! have fun!

thanks seamus, but I just took my kids to the snow, I have no personal desire to try skiing - with or without a kilt.

I love hiking and scubadiving, both I do in a kilt (only kidding).
