I would need to see more of the tartan than this little swatch picture to form an opinion.
The third kilt I bought, several years ago, is in the Auld Lang Syne (Gray) tartan. This is just a fashion tartan, but I immediately liked it when I saw it and it is still one of my favorites.

I would say offhand that it has a little more gray than black, as compared to the King Robert the Bruce, tartan.
I also like the Black Stewart, even though it seems to be very prevalent in the casual kilt club. I think it can be a nice casual kilt tartan.
