    I love to work with Buffalo horn and Ebony. It's relatively easy to work with, and gives a very rich classical finish to the overall appearance. The draw back is that they're both getting very expensive and difficult to find of any quality.

    Did you buy the blade ready made and just craft the lovely handle? If so, from where?

    Hi Nathan,

    Yes, I bought the blades. I don't have the tooling to make the blades. I bought four from one dealer and four of a different style from another dealer.
    Here's one of the dealers I bought from.. I can't find the other.

    I do custom rifle stock work , so I just mimicked a German Schnabel for the pommel end.
