What do others think? I've never been a fan of any shoes with tassles, but that's just me. Too much like golf shoes without the spikes. I'm also not a fan of loafers, but I have some great slip-on shoes. This is of course only my personal preference. If you find a pair you like and that you feel looks good, give'r.
To my way of thinking tassels on shoes just make it more difficult to clean and polish them.
How about Blundstone Boots? I just bought a pair a few weeks ago and they are comfortable.
These look good. They are very comfortable too http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/329012/c/4746.html. David
This are my next pairs. I want a black pair, http://www.daytonboots.com/index_pro...m?ProductID=46 a brown pair, http://www.daytonboots.com/index_pro...m?ProductID=54 and a pair of the service oxfords for dress wear. http://www.daytonboots.com/index_pro...m?ProductID=39 After I get those, I won't need to buy shoes for a while! Daytons are famous for being tough and lasting a very long time. (I'm going to get rid of all my other shoes, except my sandals.) The first two are called The Wanderer. They are the boots Vince Hemingson runs Marathons in. He's got a 67 mile run coming up and he'll be running it in Wanderers and a kilt!
I kinda like these. http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/377657/c/3.html
Wow. those are pretty nice.
I, like so many others, prefer the black and tall boots. Good look in the kilts. I found these on the Converse website and bought a pair for walking at Festivals and such. Not exactly traditional... but they sure get comments everywhere I go! (Yes, all the white parts come "blacked-out")
