Gay or straight, it doesn't matter much. He was kilted. If he was kilted at a fire fighters chili cook off, I would not say that he must be a fire fighter.
Sure there will be some ignorant thug who associates a kilt with being feminine, but when someone tells me, with a smile, that my kilt looks a little girlie, I ask, "Well then it won't look good for you when I kick your @r$e, then will it?" Always said with a smile, but the question is in their mind, and therefore I've already won. In a true confrontation, I will always walk away.
